Growing up in the suburbs outside his hometown Bielefeld Chris fell in love with storytelling at a young age. He has been working on his craft through freelance cinematography and directing his first feature-length travel film “Facing Down Under” - being released in cinemas in 2022.

He truly believes in the power and aesthetic of film. Chris looks to bring empathy, care, and positivity to every project he works on. 

He is is also passionate about surfing, skateboarding, various forms of music, and reading books. Chris is deeply interested in the human experience and spirituality.​
